one word that I want to express... daily...

To be fearless daily means to speak from the heart without worrying what others might think...
To be fearless means finishing what I start even though I might fail...
To be fearless means loving with ALL my heart, including the parts I still hold back, just in case...
To be fearless means putting it out there and letting go of..."is this even good enough?"
To be fearless means believing that I am ready, right now, as I am.
To be fearless means making ART that might reveal the sadness that lies beneath...
To be fearless is to let go of the people that are toxic without guilt. period.
To be fearless means trying NEW things and embracing vulnerability...
To be fearless is to run my OWN race, no matter what is going on around me.
To be fearless is to let my heart lead, even when my head says no.
To be fearless is to trust and to believe that everything is unfolding the way it's supposed to.
To be fearless is to embody patience.
To be fearless is to to wear a badge that says: I am confident, daring, bold, heroic, valorous and brave.

Danielle - what grabs me right now in your list is...FEARLESS means believing that I am ready, right now, as I am. I love this, because I find myself stalling for credentials, more education, more qualifications...and I recently realized the real juice is in the experience, not the studying of it! So thanks for that reminder!

Love love love. Fearless and leap were my words for 2010. This is a fabulous word honey and I know you already are. My word for 2011 is still emerging.... but cultivate and learning are the themes.. xxx

Fearless is a great word! My word last year was YES, which made me confront a lot of fears. I wasn't fearless, but, I got a lot more comfortable with staring it down. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy word this year is BALANCE. Last year, with all the yes, I learned that it is important to stay in balance... so here I am on my tightrope, in my spangled tights... balancing for all I am worth!

Love Love Love it! I want 2011 to be about action (but I don't like it as my word). Fearless fits the bill for me too. I've been saying that I want to grow a pair this year...that's certainly about being fearless. My heart expanded with every line of this post. Seriously. ReplyDeleteHello there! I just found your blog this morning and saw this post. My word for last year was fear.less. I loved that it could be "fearless" or fear LESS". I even got it tattooed on my wrist earlier this year! :D
