(Take two. Dear Blogger, please do not erase my post. It is rude and it takes a lot of time to write a second time.)
Hello everybody! I'm back from five days and four nights
on Manitoulin Island and I now have one mode...
SLOW.
The weather was amazing! Five days of straight sunshine and we were so busy getting set up and enjoying the present that I didn't even take one photo.
But I do have something special to share...

| Jenni Horne's beautiful work. |

I became an instant fan of Jenni's work a couple of years ago when I stumbled upon it in blog world. I fell in love with her whimsical interpretations of campers, birds, nature and so much more. I had the wonderful opportunity to cross paths with her online a few weeks ago. Please visit her bright and beautiful
blog to find out how
we finally "met". And be sure to visit
her Etsy shop to see her work.
I plan on purchasing a couple of prints soon...
On another note, I have completely surrendered people.
Unplugged, off-line, gone OLD SCHOOL!
It took about three to four days to completely
let go of facebook and not want to check it.
But since then, I can honestly say that I don't miss it one bit.
I do miss my besties, however,
but I know this is not a forever thing so I am trying to milk it and just be.
I'm enjoying the ART of dilly dallying...
I have been dreaming SO MUCH since unplugging. I mean at night. My dreams are vivid again and so real. It's like I have cracked opened the creative well and so many projects are trying to be heard and noticed.
I am enjoying this place, this time, this silence...
where the days are long, the pace is slow and the creativity is flowing.
I'm also still adjusting to Steve and Owen BOTH being home ALL day-everyday. While I miss my days in my studio with my little Frodo, I'm trying to appreciate every minute with my boys, (even the difficult ones) because I know this time is precious.

A friend of mine named Tracy Carlton has opened an ETSY shop specifically to help raise money for a children's initiative in Kenya. Every penny of the profits will be sent to help these kids. She is trying to sell them all in ONE MONTH, so please visit here for more info.

She continues to inspire my creative journey everyday.
I LOVE YOU more than you know Mindy! ♥ xoxox
And lastly, I soon promise to share what I've been up to with Beverly.
