I used to keep a journal. I used to write in in just about every night. On New Year's Day I would fill it with new goals and dreams. I would even break them down into sections... emotional, intellectual, physical, financial... etc. I would also make a list of all the things I was grateful for. This gave me closure and filled me with extreme gratitude. By doing a year end review, I was able to go back and reflect on every moment that filled me up with joy and sadness. I was able to put these moments to rest and then centre myself for the year ahead.
2011 has been beyond my wildest dreams!
Seriously! I'm ahead
of schedule on the dream list... (except for one bad ass dream.) I am
humbled by all the goodness and abundance I have received in 2011. The

ReplyDeleteOh,my goodness! What a year you have had!! I am so impressed! That was a really great post to read. I love positive, uplifting posts and after reading yours, I feel like I can do it all, too! LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely comment on my blog. I laughed when you said you had "romantic notions" of journal pages...I did, too! I thought I would just make the most amazing journals and everyone would swoon (not that I was doing them for "everyone"...but that was part of the "romance"!). I gave up. LOL I make art every single day but just couldn't commit to the type of journaling I thought I would love. I do love my current journal though. I put NO pressure on myself for that one and I guess that's how it should be!
I can't wait to see you at Artfest! We're gonna have such FUN!!!!! xoxo
